What would be good items for a defensive minded player. Any characters and situations would be great :)
 
Give us more information to work with, what kind of opponents do intend to face, what points level....?
 
1500-2000 and against orks and skaven right now but any army really i just found a clubhouse to play at regularly and theres quite a few people with many diff armys
 
Don't take an item just because the item is generally good. Take the item because it helps accomplishes something you deem useful. For example, Dawnstone is a good item for a mounted Saurus, but not so much for an infantry guy with a great weapon. Decide what you want to accomplish and take items accordingly.
 
if you are defensive minded then take a Slann.. If you have offense in mind, then take a Slann ;)
