    Nice work, great end result!

I was wondering did you have a video or description on those purple flames.
I love the sight of it ;)

Sadly I tried to make a video on the flames but it makes for a very bad tutorial. I can definitely explain you how it's made though:

    - Basecoat of White
    - Glaze Fluorescent Magenta leaving the white in the deepest recesses
    - Mix progressively more and more Violet Ink into the Magenta and go up the flame
    - Go back and forth with the Magenta and the different mixes with ink smoothing out the transitions
    - Once you have pure Violet Ink paint the very tips with Black
    - Highlight those with Slannesh Grey and Ulthuan Grey to simulate smoke

    Hi guys! New NMM Tutorial

I tied to emulate my personal hero Darren Latham painting, specifically his very characteristic style of Gold NMM. Super pleased I gave this a go, learned A LOT.

    Hope you guys like it!

It seems we all need as much entertainment as possible and I will try and provide it.

It's short, it's silly but that's just how I am.

    Stay safe, keep painting!

Just found this thread and I saw your skink painting tutorial yesterday! Amazing work friend! I was wondering what gold you used and technique for all the jewelry on the skinks? I started painting my skinks using your method with a slight variation on the washes and the scales though I might switch it up if I go skink heavy with my army 88F70B13-AC75-4AD7-8321-61D252168EE7.jpeg

After a long wait the 'Eavy Contrast Marines are BACK!

And what better traitor legion to start with than the DEATH GUARD! As always everything is done with Contrast Paints and Highlights, and I think this one in particular shows the potential of Contrast Paints quite well, has a lot of fun painting it.

    Hope you guys like it!

@Itepixcauh, one of the things I really like is seeing you use mixes of contrast paints. I don't find that much in other tutorials, mostly just single colors. Plus, it's great to see contrast over other base colors (like the Dawnstone in this video).

Thanks! I never understood why people limit themselves so much, the possibilities are endless and yet they constrict themselves to pure colours and two basecoats. Such a great tool wasted.

The best part about investigating for this tutorials is the experimentation with different mixes to achieve the tones I want

@Itepixcauh I'm sorry if this was already asked somewhere in the thread, but what colours did you use for the dirt on your bases? Thank you :)

It is really great how you went from painting exceptionally to painting exceptionally with only contrast colors.
You are basically robbing us of more and more excuses to paint badly. :D
