Congrats on the second game! lots of great details on this skink. It looks awesome! Lots of amazing little details!

Two more are finished! I had a lot of fun with the standard bearer. I want the feathers on top to look a bit more interesting, but I'm not that good at blending, so right now they're pretty plain. I will come back to them later :)

Thanks for the picture @n810! He looks great! They do look very similar ;) I like the very bright colors of the feathers - they really catch the eye :)

I like the colours of the feathers! Seemss as if he met Lord Boab on day... ;)

Skink chiefs! Some of my favourite lizardmen minis. I like what you've done with yours :D

Ah yes! What would the Lizardmen be without their lovely skinks? They hold a special place in my heart aswell ;)
Thank you for your comment @Acrocanth!

I just received a model with the mail that I've been looking very much forward to try to paint! It is my first model that is not from GW so it will be a historical moment! I do not intend to buy any other models from different brands but I just had to paint this one! I hope you will look forward to see the result after this little teaser! ;)
Hint: he is from Avatars of War! :)

Here he is! My very first non-GW model! I fell in love with this model instantly when I saw it. The massive t-rex jaws especially got me ;)
Everything is highlighted! The skin took me damn long but oh well. I wanted to make the highlights look very sharp! Its hard to see but all of the scales are highlighted aswell. The color that I used to highlight is very close to the color for the actual scales though so it it kind of hard to see. When I painted it I thought it would be fine, but know Im thinking about redoing the scales with a much lighter highlight color.
I'm also not quite keen on his feathers on the weapon. They look a bit messy. Maybe the colors blend to much into each other? With that said though I had a blast painting him! I've really done my best and have taken my time with this one so I'm happy to finally show it off :)
He is actually quite big! Bigger than I thought... He's somewhere in between an Oldblood and a Kroxigor so I don't know what I will call him. For now he is just Mr. Mighty of Jurassic Park!

I Find that the saurus have only gotten bigger over time while the kroxigors havn't changed much so really you could go either way. The skink prophet from the troglodon is also such a brute :P

Yeah @Rikard has some crazy good scultping skills - I was wrong about the model you got :) you got the one I want though

Rikard's models sure are awesome! I would love to paint some one day :)

My latest creation! This turned out to be one of my best painted models as of yet :) I toned his color scheme down from the last model I painted (the one from avatars of war) since I wanted him darker. Especially the scales that I painted a very bright blue before, I now painted a very dark blue with thin light highlights along each scale. I'm quite happy with this change :) He pretty much took me a week with on and off painting. He only lacks his pupils in his eyes since I hate during those - I always mess up :D They will come later today though.
I was inspired to do the green gold on this standard from the 6th edition army book. On the last page (I think) there was a small gallery with pro painted models and one of them was this guy painted with greenish gold. I thought it looked really cool so I tried it out for myself :)
