Thanks :) I can't say more on it due to anonymity :) but it's going well so far good luck with yours too hope you find inspiration for an idea soon

Love your work!

Your saurus have turned out beautifully! You have executed the classic paint scheme perfectly, they look as good or better than the army books! I really like how well you have painted your shields, I need to go back and repaint mine someday so that the scales pop like yours!

Also your skink priests look fantastic!

Wow thank you so much @Warden!!! That's some serious compliments - I really appreciate it!

These red crested heroes look fantastic! Really great job on them, they look savage and would scare any skaven army!

My 6 Cold Ones! I still have the riders to do but the dinos themselves are finished :)
I'm still not sure it was a good idea to paint them different colors but it sure made them fun to do. Let me know which one of them you prefer! :)

A closeup of the leader of the company: I had difficulties with the feathers on his helmet, but it ended okay. I also tried highlighting the gold.

Riders will come soon!

Good looking Cold Ones, like the variety. :D

These look fantastic! The helmet on that leader looks really awesome. You've got so much great detail in their scales.

Don't doubt the different colours its perfect - look at litters of animals they all have pattern variations and things in fur - it makes the more realistic - and means they can come from different hatchings? if you want them too :) or spawnings I forget whether they are spanwed or hatched :P

Thanks for your comment @SlanntaClause! I believe Cold Ones are hatched like normal reptiles since they're not Lizardmen but just "animals" that live in the jungle. But who can really say for certain :D

Here are close-up pictures of the others :)

I had a lot of trouble doing their eyes. I wanted to make them look wild and vicious so I tried adding red to both sides of the eye. I was quite difficult as these guys' eyes are quite small. How do you guys make eyes? Do you shade them or use specific techniques? Until now I've just painted them yellow but I'd like to achieve something more :)

Oh wow! The close ups really show off what an amazing job you did on the eyes! They really catch you. Certainly they have a wild look to them, I just painted mine black and said good enough! Really a stunning job you've done here

I use a fine point pen for their eyes, and it's still hard.
sometimes it takes a few repaints until I get it right.

Thank you @Bowser! I'm really glad that you like them. I really miss doing skinks - their big eyes were easier to hit with a brush than these guys' :D
