8th Ed. jungle poison

hello i want to ask about the jungle poison rule

first the skinks with jungle poison do they have poison attack even in close combat

then ancient stegadon has jungle poison an the terradons that mean's that in close combat they do poison
attack's too?

No, I'm afraid that the jungle poison rule only confers poison attacks to ranged attacks, so the stegadons blowpipes/ giant bow benefit from it, but the beast itself doesn't, also thge skinks do not get poison attacks in melee.

hmm so if the rule was poison attack instead of jungle poison they would had close combat poison attack..?

oh and another thing i saw in rulebook that if you need 7+ to hit then the poisoned range attack rule doesn't apply is this for skink's too?

yep, if you are shooting with a ton of penalites that puts the total number over 6, you don't get poison shots.
(Note: blowpipe skink can opt to use single shots for one less penality)
