And one needs to be right handed and one left handed....and they need to be on the correct side....or things could get messy
I agree with all of those on one condition. Everyone has to acknowledge that bulldogs, while kind of homely, are also happy and surprisingly intelligent and fun-loving. There's this one bulldog who comes into my work (anonymous big box store) and immediately jumps onto one of the big flat shopping carts. Then she looks at her humans as if to say "Push me! I wanna ride!" Mind you, I might be biased because this particular bulldog also thinks I am her friend...
Reminds me of a bull dog owned by the couple who owned a gym I used to go to. It adorably interjected itself when people were stretching and loved everyone. One time his owners left him there overnight. There were tons of people the dog new but it stopped seeking affection from everyone. He acted so sad and abandoned it was adorable. Bull dogs are certainly friendly and loyal. They got a lot of complications from inbreeding though, especially to mothers birthing pups. I'm torn. Mutts are a lot healthier but pure breds have very predictable personalities and that's great for making an informed choice about what pet to buy.
I can't really say much on the topic as I grew up in a household with pet cats, most of whom being from rescued litters as kittens and taken in with their siblings. With that said, barring the unfortunately finicky health of two tortoiseshell cats, the individual quirks they all developed over time were always fascinating.
