The saddest thing is that even high school football players often develop health problems. If I had a son (or daughter) I would go out of my way to help my kids play sports, get up early to take them to practice, shell out the money for equipment and uniforms. Any sport at all...except football or boxing.

Boxing at least is more honest. No one is really surprised that getting punched in the face repeatedly can create chronic health problems.

Can confirm that - was forced to play this thug's game in many of my school PE lessons. Now whenever anything gets close to my facial region I instinctively check to make sure all my teeth are still there.
