Over here it's a 3 year LLB in law, followed by a 1 year "on the job" that I can't remeber the name of in which you do specialised work in 3 areas of law, only get paid £16'000 for that year and it's not an easy position to get. After that it's up to roughly £32'000 a year as a fully qualified solicitor. Have to do advocacy training inorder to be able to rep clients in court though.

Over here we also have a "legal executives" training plan which takes 6 years to complete and you only become a "legal executive" which isn't as prestigous as a solicitor but the training costs less and is easier to do as you can do it at colleges and such as opposed to uni.

Or something like that lol - I was up very late last night and the brain still lacks caffeine....

Nanotechnology? awesome, not something you come across every day, what exactly does it entail?

The LL.B. is 3 years here too but it is practically worthless since you can't really practice law with the LL.B. The best you can hope for is to do some research work with a law firm for a very small salary. LL.D. is needed which takes 6 years... almost there now... 5 down, 1 to go.

Nanotechnology seems rather interesting :) is it research based?

Yeah nanotech is mostly research based, a lot of lue sky research still happening but there are some technologies started to arrise at the moment.

It covers a pretty wide range of things, there is microbiological applications such as biosensors, quantum physics, and the area where I am focused in: surface science. Basically looking at and manipulating the top atom layer on a surface, so you need some extremely sensitive equipment. :p My group is doing a lot with carbon nanotubes, my project is looking at explosive grains and trying to improve their efficiency.

    Exploding, grains? o_O

That's like one of the new emoticons...

    :chicken:

Well I've decided my comp is mine to use and touch... No one else's...
All my tabs are seemingly disappearing as soon as someone else than me uses my internet! :shifty:
    It's annoying to restore...

    Cheers!

Well... By explosive grains I guess I mean gunpowder. It isn't quite powder though, small pellets around half a centimeter long cylindars.

Hmm the reason your tabs are likely dissapearing is because when someone else logs in it changes profile.. I'm not sure why it shouldn't change profile back when you get back on though. Tabs do have a strange habit of running away though. You probably already know this but just in case, you know they are stored in their own folder in the bookmarks so you can just drag and drop them back in place right?

Nothing with the profiles to do, I only got one. :smug:

Still... Problem is that I cleared out my history records(I hadn't done that since may 2nd! :jawdrop: ) so the "recently used" disappeared... I got them back of course but was annoying... I blame the users...

Anyhow I'm getting back home today, after my game of fantasy this afternoon is done... Damn goblins...
So that will result in pics in my little thread in the painting section. ^^

    Cheers!

    HMM...!

    hmm...

Not much happening really, the most unusual thing that happened today was that I had my first nightmare in 4 years...
I dunno whether that's good or bad...

    Cheers!

I live in Kansas City, Missouri. That's... vaguely close. Closer than the coasts at least. :p Why?

HMM... Good luck with that Suppe. ^^

Anyhow... The sun came through today, really nice... But the heat still gives me itches for whatever reason... :shifty:

So... I got tricked to climb up this odd mountain(don't ask) and saw a wonderful view... Really, it was wonderful...

Later I had one of these
    kryddburken0000764_pariserbulle.jpg

    Delicious! :smug:

Now I'm gonig back to converting my skinks... I'm stuck on how to counter the lack of 24 of each weapon thou... o_O

    Cheers!

Making 12 of each type seems like the intended choice.. Even if you don't actually want ay of one particular weapon, in that case convert. Silly skink kit.

Its pouring rain here today, which is great. We don't get rain all that often. And my honours project is starting to give me usable results, which is even better. :)

I'm still trying to sleep off staying up until 3am a few nights in a row watching the cricket, we got so close to thrashing england. Hopefully there will be no time wasting at Lords, where we haven't lost to them since the 1930's. :)
