Greetings, scaly fellows.
I am coming back to our beloved space-aztec-dinosaur-riding-aztec dinosaur-things after more than 10 years. I was very young back then and basically just assembled and painted some models, playing very few games.
Every now and then i would update on what was going on in the Warhammer World.
After finiding some skinks and saurus hiding in the basement I felt like I wanted to try again.
But it seemed way to difficult.
Then i found Lustria Online, and fell in love with the army (again).
Then i thought it was too expensive.
Then I found the Start Collecting box at a ridiculous 50% discount.
Well, that was enough for me.
I got back to local shops (live in Rome, many choices) and spent a few days and euros on ebay.
Now I think I have assembled and primed a pretty good army, with some kit-bashing and conversions, ready to be painted.
1 Oldblood on Carnosaur (Plus a Scar-Vet conversion)
1 Troglodon
1 Bastiladon
1 Slann
1 Kroak
1 Sunblood on foot
1 Oldblood on foot
1 Scar-Vet on Cold One
1 Astrolith Bearer
1 Skink starpriest-priest
1 Skink priest-Tehenhauin
3 Ripperdactyls
1 Very old Dimetrodon-like Salamander
1 Old metal new-look Salamander
7 Skink Handlers
15 Saurus Knights (spears)
35 Saurus Warriors (clubs)
40 Old model bow skinks
10 Skinks
5 Chameleon Skinks
I draw and paint all the time (oil, watercolour, gouache, etc etc), so i did some concept sketches to see if I liked the look of the models and to test paint schemes out, and now I really want to start painting miniatures too.
So, I hope this was not too long.
See you around in the jungels of Lustria or traveling throug space and time!
Space-aztec roars!
