The rules for Killing Blow say that they only work on Infantry, Cavalry and War Beasts. Unless they have Heroic Killing Blow, Monsters are unaffected.
In the Rules for Ridden Monsters, the BRB says that "the whole model is treated as having the troop type "Monster".
By this wording, an Oldblood on Carnosaur cannot be affected by killing blow in CC, even if attacks are directed at him, unless it is Heroic Killing Blow.
Am I reading this rule correctly? It'll decide whether I take two Slann or an Slann and Oldblood against my mate's Khorne list.
