I ordered it from an Etsy store since I don't actually have a 3D printer. https://www.etsy.com/listing/759987019/epic-boss-quetzalcoatl-the-snake-god?ref=yr_purchases Very good deal. 100mm base large model for only $30. If this was a GW model it would be $60-$80 at least
Didn't have the best day today, but painting this guy helped me get through it. Kroxigor Ancient, going to be a unit "leader" for my Kroxies, even though they don't technically get one in the rules...
Thanks! Contrast paints make everything easier, lol! I'm really looking forward to using him in a game soon!
Here's a non-Seraphon model I got done yesterday, an ally to my brother's Orruk/Gitz army. Goblin Skuttleboss on Giant Spider. The spider is based off a red-knee tarantula:
And I've been working on painting a lot this weekend, lol! Here's a One Page Rules Slann. I'm not sure I like the Terradon Turquoise color I used for his skin, though. It looks very "smudgy" and not nearly as good under normal lighting as it looks in this picture. I don't know if I should strip the paint on it and start again with Talassar Blue as the color? I'd be interested to hear people's opinions on this, plus I don't know if you need to use different chemicals to strip resin vs. plastic... But here he is:
I love that turquoise on the slann. Really unique look, maybe just needs another thin layer, but it looks super cool.
Thanks! I might leave it then, and just put a thin layer over some areas to try and even it up a bit. Now I just need to figure out a good base for him. I'd like to have him elevated a bit, but the OPR mini seems to be meant to sit flat on a base. It seems like he'd look really out of place sitting really low to the ground like that, though.
Hmm, maybe I could find an old Slann palanquin on Ebay with the Temple Guard bearers to use as his platform...
I'm not sure I'm confident enough that I could do a conversion like that well yet, but it does sound like it would be fun to try! I also finished the first of my One Page Rules Saurus Warriors today. These guys look really good, but are also much more detailed than the GW minis and a lot harder to paint, lol!
Got a Saurus Knight on a Dark Elf Cold One done. The mount turned out really well I think! Also finished basing my Coatl.
