It seems like lots of people are doing kitbashed skink priests, including me! Here's my humble offering: any suggestions for ways to further decorate his cloak would be welcome.

Sorry about the fingers in the photos, I just couldn't seem to get a decent light without my wife holding it up to the lamp. And then the shading got washed out, so...can't win.

Nice kitbashing man. :smug:

What an amazing staff! The cloak makes it appear as if the winds of magic are swirling about him! To elaborate on the cloak you could paint it up like a Jaguar or other Puma. A tiger pelt might be your best bet with the paint scheme you have going on, especially if you can get your hands on some white lions of chrace bits.

Try nipping a few feathers off of the saurus standards and having them on the cloak? Failing that you could add a glyph like amulet around his neck?

If you didnt already have him based i woulda said take the glyph with vines on it and it would give him the dynamic look of running up it to cast an important spell :smug:

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I like the idea of adding feathers, maybe I'll play around with that.

As for the basing suggestion...I know, right?! I glued him on there about a year ago when he was just going to be a regular skink with a javelin, and then I got this idea to convert one of them into a priest, but I'd glued ALL of them into the bases...with superglue. Argh. Now I see these gorgeous bases with priests lunging off of rocks and I feel sad. Oh well, next time!

Pva mixed with sand and gravel painted around his feet will look good, you could maybe have a bigger rock with a green stuff snake perched on it will make a nice scenic kinda look to it?
