Kia Ora everyone, one advantage of being so close to the international dateline is that New Zealand for many purposes is actually in the future (unless we're talking about tv shows or movies in which case we get those after Bangladesh). Listened to this, this morning. Actually very well done. A little long, but had a lot of good opinion.

Don't agree will all of it of course but always good to hear differing opinions.
 
A good view. Pretty perfectly captured my exact same thoughts about the book: the new stuff is fairly uninspiring, the old stuff didn't really change, and there's probably little variety. Not necessarily bad, but definitely a missed opportunity, especially coming off the back of the Warriors, Daemons and High Elf releases.

My gaming group isn't very large and consists of High Elves, Wood Elves, Warriors and Dark Elves. Out of those four, I'd certainly agree with their conclusion that we're looking at lower-middle tier.

However, I'm going to follow their blog to see what sort of experimentation comes out.

They figured lower mid tier, which might improve to upper mid tier once we get some experience with the new book.
 
Thanks for listening guys, it's my view that the book in general is the same but weaker with the new stuff being uninspiring from a competitive point of view. I'm hoping I'm wrong...
 
Embarrassing question.. am I the only one who uses Excel?
 
Good review! Agree with the comment about the guy maybe interupting you abit much haha. I mean its sort of YOUR point of view im more interested in since YOU are the Lizardmenplayer. And a competative one at that it seems.

I was myself sort of tired of the skinkcloud so I really hoped for more. Im still gonna try out what you call some more "combined arms" lists. Hopefully that can work out well.
