Hi everyone,

I decided to post some pictures of my very first army. I started it in the begging of this years and now I'm very into AoS, especially the Seraphon army. I love painting it and playing it :D

Here is the list of my models:
  • 1 x Slann Starmaster
  • 1 x Engine of the Gods
  • 1 x Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur
  • 1 x Saurus Eternity Warden
  • 1 x Skink Chief
  • 1 x Skink Starpriest
  • 1 x Skink Priest
  • 1 x Scar-veteran on a cold one
  • 15 x Saurus Guard
  • 7 x Saurus Knights
  • 12 x Saurus Warriors
  • 24 x Skinks
  • 3 x Ripperdactyl Riders + 1 x toad
  • 1 x Salamender + 3 Skinks handlers
  • 1 x Bastiladon
Thanks in advance for all of your comments.

Have a great day :D

Edit : I update my list to reflect what I really have.

Wow you got a nice army going! And considering you got started with this army this year that is quite an achievement getting this far (I am just barely finishing my army and might not be finished this year after several years of projects...).

I would say I probably like your skinks the best. The purple looks nice, but I mostly like the fact that you put shields on most of the blowpipes wielders. I did the same for mine, mostly because they looked cooler with shields.

I also like the stripe-paintings on the saurus cavalry shields, and the snakes on the carnosaur's base. :lurking:

Well done, anything planned for next? It looks like you hit everything on your list!

I plan to do some other war-paintings on the shields of my saurus warriors. And maybe on my skinks as well, but not sure.

I have just received my salamander with the skinks handlers, so when I'll be back from my holidays, I'll do them. And I think that after that, I'll take some ripperdactyl riders :D.

So I did this a little time ago (something like 3/4 months), but I was too lazy to take picture and post-it. But here we are, the last troops that I have finished !

Nice paint scheme! I like the warpaint-like markings on the wings.

Thanks !
We can't really see it on the picture, but I tried to keep a genaral paint scheme but with some nuances. The blues for the main body, the red/brown for the wings is a little different each times. And the warpaint-like marking is the same colour but not the same shape.

Thanks mate !

But I still need more practices and more idea, especially for my bases.
And I want to try air-brush, but I don't think it'll be this year unfortunately.
I've started airbrushing just a week ago and I have to say the learning curve is steep, but it looks like it is worth it. I am starting with easy stuff like priming and doing base coats.

Haha, see I have a big advantage, I wet paint at work (25yrs+) so I can spray using a conventional gun, airbrush is just a smaller gun so the skills transfer pretty well.
