How are the attacks against these two worked out as they have different WS?

Anyone in base contact with the model can chose to attack either the rider or the mount. Attacks against the mount use the WS of the mount. Attacks against the rider use the WS of the rider.

Further question... The LM book says how Grym reacts if Kroq dies (meaning he gets to carry on) but what if Grym dies.....
