i recently picked up the kroq gar model and i was suprised to find he has a sheild. in no pictures of him have i seen the sheild and i'm confused as to where to glue it to

It's there simply to give you more options. Many people would rather have a WYSIWYG model for an old blood with a weapon and shield rather than his glove thing

Yeah I made a topic about this a while ago, it is here:

It is because that is the only carnosaur model, so they gave you a shield if you wanted an old blood on carnosaur with a shield. You stick it on his left forearm like a normal shield if you want it.

Well then, magnetize it and the shield and your done...
I suppose you'd like to be able to say "he has a shield, just see here."
Rather than "He has a shield, but it's invisible and won't show itself for you."
