The police take drugs, especially weed, very serious. I mean, just look at these brutal and cunning tactics they use to bring down stoners. :D

I have no clue. Probably not if I was just buying it. If I were selling it the case would be quite different. The part of Germany I live in has the most restrictive laws against weed in the country. If you take the rules as written a tenth of a gram is already enough to get you into jail.

Weed is legal in most states now, so less of a problem as long as someone here can provide a card saying it's medicinal! :p
 
It got demoted to class C here many years ago, so unless you're carrying enough to be considered distributing it or a repeat offender they just give you a warning these days...
 
Same with Canada. Legal for personal use but distribution in mass quantity could get you a bit of trouble. But that will likely go away too.
