I'm pleased to see there's at least one Dwarf in there.

But again it seems to be trying to get viewers to forget about The Hobbit, as it purely refers to Aragorn and the Fellowship. That gives me bad feelings I first experienced when The Farce Awakens came out and noticed they were rehashing the Original Trilogy in a deliberate attempt to try and erase Episodes I-III out of people's minds.

Also simply saying 'Before Aragorn, before the Fellowship and before the Ring' means there's a very wide space of time this series could take place in - it could be before the War of the Ring (i.e. between the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings), before the Ring was found by Bilbo (any time between the Defeat of Sauron and the Hobbit) or before the Ring was even made (before the Defeat of Sauron). Given that 'The Rings of Power' refers to all the Rings Sauron made to try and control the Free Peoples of Middle-Earth, it may be the latter as it could refer to the creation of said Rings, or it could still be after the the Defeat of Sauron as all the other Rings were still active.

But then we still don't know if it's going to be SJW-ified yet, so there's not much point in theorising just yet.

Also I'll be interested to see if GW plans to produce new releases for the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game for this series, or if they stick to the two film trilogies.

From what I saw, read and heard it is supposed to be set in the second era around the time Sauron and Celebrimbor created the rings of power.
Amazon has announced that the first two episodes are going to be a three hour storytelling about what has happened in the first era since the creation of Arda. This makes me very nervous, because there is a lot of history in the first era as well... I don't think three hours will do it justice... but then again they do not seem to care about the lore that much o_O

Lets hope it will be at least half decent

Some of us already know.

Well I was just being positive in the vain hope that it might actually be free from SJW-related content.

The whole adage of looking at the glass half full or half empty. Unfortunately that is not quite applicable here. It's more like a glass full of piss.

The evidence is overwhelming. At this point it's one-in-a-trillion that it doesn't turn out to be a SJW shit show.

Quiet here for some time now... thought you could get away with it, you did?

Looks like gaming-cocaine to me... I'll need to steer clear of it (i.e. it looks good and immersive). I have a bad tendency to get obsessed with games like these.
HAHAHA!

There is some truth in that. However, it is not like a game such as WoW; this game has finite amount of content. It's a single player experience, and unlike MMO games, it won't be continually updated, expanded and grown.

So its a cocaine addiction with a built-in finite period of addiction. Now, how long that period is, or if it is personally worth taking on is totally up to you. For me though, it will be the first game a purchase as soon as I can find a PS5.
