THE LEGEND OF KREMLO THE SLANN
So after some perusing the internet I came across this old gem, from back when the Lizardmen/Slann were two different races (Slann living in Lustria, while the Lizardmen were an underground race that lived under the Old World).
Quick synopsis:
Kremlo, a young Slann, was found and adopted by a tribe of Norsemen from Skeggi. He is raised as a son to the Norsemen, and despite his hideous appearance (I mean, his skin was bright blue) he became a respected warrior and member of the Norse Tribe. When his father is killed by a raiding Slann party of the BlueSpineSticks, Kremlo becomes the new Norse warchief, and begins a bloody war of revenge against the Slann.
The majority of this stuff all came from over at Mars Miniatures, logo from somewhere else though, that just looked cool and fit the thread
Just wanted to share this with the community. While this stuff is pretty old, and the "slann warrior" idea doesn't work as well in current WHF or AOS lore quite as well, this story could of course be easily adapted to be young skink spawnling
, fresh out of the spawning pool, who is left for dead by his tribe and discovered by the Norse of Skeggi and somehow raised as one of their own. Would make for a pretty awesome battle scenario, and definitely makes for an interesting albeit obscure little piece of fluff!
