Let’s get Motivated June 2020

So I've been out of painting the past few weeks. Been really struggling for any kind of hobby motivation. Finally managed to do a tiny bit of painting the last 2 days. My aim for this month is to just try and get back into the swing of things. Hopefully that will mean finishing my Stegadon crew.
 
current status (all monthly goals achived):

  • 3 Kroxigors: finished (there was a lack of some needed colours)
  • 10 Skinks: finished
  • Razordon + 3 Skink Handlers: finished

I am right now working on something similar for my collection, but like everything else in my life...still more incomplete than complete. Lets see, if I can finish that this month.

Here's what I've managed in june:
  1. Get nice bases for my warbands done.
  2. Add some finishing touches (most of all figuring out how to get sashes for them done)
  3. Make a test run for the paint scheme I've in mind (resumed from last month).
  4. Get at least three models for my warbands painted.
  5. Write down the background ideas for my warbands.
I figured out how to make sashes, but haven't done them yet for all my models, so this goal is not completely done (hence I marked it orange). Same goes for goal nr. 4 - I've painted three models, but two of them were test models. When it comes to writing down the background for my warband I've written down everything important in keywords and started to write a short story, which is far from finished yet. So I guess there's a lot to resume in this month ;)
 
1st of July, time to recap:
  • 5 Guards
  • Oldblood in carnosaur: Only NMM Gold to be done. I really wanted to look cool, so I took my time. that is the last part it needs
  • Bases
  • started the next 5 Guards
  • Painted 20 (TWENTY) Saurus Warrios shields
The result is that I almost managed to finish everything. The campaign in which I'll play with these minis got delayed due to corona, so I relaxed a little.

When I finish with the Carnosaur, I'll make photos and post them in my painting blog. Let's start July!
