Let's Get Motivated - April 2021

Managed to assemble all of my listed Stormcast and all of the Blackstone models apart from the Choas Marines, completed one of the Dreadblade Harrow bases, painted the four Glaivewraith bases, and am in the process of the eternal washing on the Glaivewraiths themselves. Hopefully I might get the four of them finished by the end of tomorrow night.

Thinking of next month taking a partial break from AoS models and instead try to paint some of the Blackstone Fortress models.

  • Paint and base 2 units of Phase 1 Clone Troopers
  • Paint and base 1 unit of Phase 2 Clone Troopers.
  • Paint and base 1 SW Legion character mode.
Not a very productive April unfortunately. Work and other life stuff got in the way and I lost a lot of painting motivation.
I have started painting the Phase 2 troopers now at least.

My goals for april wpuld be:

Get new parts for troglodon's head since it got knocked over while i wasen't home and broke it's horns

Add finishing touches and paint my converted skink chief

Start painting some assambled models(hopefully)

Make a new arm for a special character(not telling who it is yet) since i got them with only left one

Assamble remaining skinks from start collecting box

Since march is over i think it's time to round up what was completed.

New parts for troglodon.
- instructions unclear, picked up starblood stalkers and celestial stampede

Skink chief
- finished converting, will add to ,,needs painting'' list

New arm
- done, the character will wait until i can do him Justine

Skinks
- all assambled, need painting

Didin't paint any models but assambled most of my army for now. Plans for may will show up on the next let's get motivated post

It's May and not April anymore but.....
Found a Slann blood bowl team that I painted up a number of years ago to compete in a NAF tournament my local gaming club held when I was living in England.
Started making a display base for them.
Will show results when finished

After the walk of shame the committee has therefore decided to extend the deadline to the end of April. :D

It's finally done, a picture can be found in the gallery here, as always.
I found the models more challenging to paint due to the gold and bone pieces.
