Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - April 2026

This thread is to get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

-Finish Plague faction
-Prime and preshade nurgling diorama
-Start painting HARDWAR
-Paint 2 terrain elements
-figure out Feathered Serpent!

I already know I won't be able to finish everything, but we'll see what happens.

Goals for April 2026:

Attend Salute 53
Achieve 500 painted 28mm miniatures or equivalents (currently 438.)

Adepticon was fun, so that goal for the year is finished!

With that I am getting around to looking at my resolutions for the year:



So far I have completed ALL of my Red Caps (last month) just in time to play them at the Frostgrave tournament at Adepticon this year. Great fun.

I have also painted a few more Infinity Nomads and Cryx models, though I have many more I want to get too. Also assembled three Dreadnoughts and a smattering of other Horus Heresy Dreadnoughts earlier this year that need some paint on them.

The conference has me excited for painting some Warmachine and some oldhammer models, looking forward to the rest of the year!
