We can do it!!

I am going to set the bar low for myself and just try to finish putting my terradons together. ...Although with those collars...lol

Any box contains 3 Terradons which fits perfectly for the unit size (of 3).
But if you want the new unit Terradon Chief (or already build by the old rules as the unit champion) one modell is missing. Buying another box would make 2 out of 3 models useless.

I've noticed GW seems to do this with just about everything. Maybe this is a bad place to ask but is there a reason for it beyond getting players to spend more money?

Well, my bar was set extremely low as I'm trying to coax myself into painting for first time in 25 years. I've started watching the instruction videos on the Warhammer Painting App.

I think I'll set the goal of buying the necessary paints to do my Daemon Plague Toads as proxies for Beasts of Nurgle to use with my DoC 8th edition army...

And seeing how many of the videos I can get through...

- finish painting the Orruk Warchanter I started

End of month update

- finish up the cold ones
- assemble some saurus guard i got
- magnetise my carnosaur/troglodon.
- maybe start writing some lore for my seraphon, not sure on that one.
- Get the Saurus Body and skink oracle built and painted

Happy with what i got done. It clears up the backlog im amassing.

For once I actually achieved my monthly goals haha. Still not had chance to do any spray priming though so February could be a slow month.

First things first, I plan to finish my 10 Cold Ones. All I have left is to finish the bases and paint the effing eyes, but I may need to buy a brush with a finer point in order to do that since my small base brush ain’t what she used to be.

Finally done! And I’m never painting another Cold One ever again, unless they come out with new models.

I hope to paint my Carnosaur - just the big Dino, not the Oldblood. This’ll be my first time painting a model of this size, so I’m not sure if it’s a reasonable goal, but we shall see.

Finished painting this, and as an added bonus I also painted the Oldblood. Just need to spray some varnish and pin/magnetize the rider to the big dino.

Finally, I’d like to build as much of my unbuilt models as possible. That’d be 10 Skinks (almost done), a Bastilodon (almost done), 3 Terradon Riders (not started) and 20 Saurus Warriors (not started). If I’m lucky, I’ll have weather good enough for priming, but I live in Canada and it’s January so I won’t hold my breath.

The 10 skinks and the Bastilodon are finished, as well as the 3 Terradon Riders. I’ve also recently bought a Blood Bowl Orc Team, of which 6 out of 12 are built. No priming done, but there’s no rush yet.

I will try Next month to add watersplashes on the bases for my running models. This is my first try. What is your opinions?

I'd say it's already a good result.
