Finished all my saurus shields finally. Was going to move onto basing but then noticed that the Saurus themselves could do with a slightly brighter edge highlight. So I'm in the process now of edge highlighting 40 Saurus again haha. One day I'll finish this damned unit.

Already having a paint log with the long term goal of painting everything I have, I realized that it may be a nice endgoal to work towards to, but overall not really helping.
So I'll use this thread to formulate achievable short term goals.

Finishing up the 10 Saurus Warriors meaning their Shields.
Aswell as getting my Slann and 5 Knights to a Battle Ready standard, so they can be used in a PtG campaign.

/ finish another 2 Saurus Knights
    and
    - advance assembling my Stegadon

Almost done with the chameleons, have two converted ones to really work on, and just a few details on the other eight.

A whole month really flies by when your busy with stuff and the cold kills your drive.

Scratch the 10 Saurus off of my list, Slann and 5 Knights to go for this month!

I think I'm overachieving based on my goals for the month. I have done very basic painting on 10 grots, 1 grot shaman and 4 orruck boyz (I told my son he can't field a model unless it is painted then realized my Skirmish Warband wasn't painted! :banghead: ). I have also assembled 1 SCE model that came with the AoS introductory magazine.

I realize none of that was Lizardmen/Seraphon related; however, my kids have painted 4 Saurus and 4 skinks in the last week or two, so that counts, right? RIGHT!? :)

Calling my chameleons done for the time being. Just have to deal them.

Started on my Stegadon, slammed through a good bit of it with contrast and drybrushing.

    * mass highlight and finishing touches on the upper body
[DONE] fix bellies after wash (kinda insignificant and annoying part of the job, but must be done to hide some of the weird lines)
    * paint teeth and tongues
    * create bases and paint the grass part of the model

I'm marking bellies as done, so I stop getting back with the brush to fix a tiny mistake there and tiny mistake here leading to infinite loop of madness, but I learned ultra detail glazing though :)

Posted a pic of my Stegadon in my blog, it's not done yet still. Took a small break from him though to do some work on a Prophet. Got the base 60% done for him.

First painted Skaven ever. I'll add a pic to my Blog later of that as well.

I've managed to unpack enough models to play a Skirmish campaign with three of my minions. As for actually painting, I'm currently a heretic on the run from the priest of Sotek since I've been painting Nighthaunt and SCE. So far I have about eight nighthaunt mostly painted and one SCE figure (can't remember the unit name ATM) mostly done. Pics in my blog when I get around to it.

Since I will be in travels next few days I can share the progress overall:
[TODO] mass highlight and finishing touches on the upper body
[DONE] fix bellies after wash (kinda insignificant and annoying part of the job, but must be done to hide some of the weird lines)
[70% DONE] paint teeth and tongues
    * highlighs and washes here and there needed
[50% DONE] create bases and paint the grass part of the model
    * water effects, bushes and a lot of drybrushing still to be done
