Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - March 2025

This thread is to get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

Since last month was going pretty well, I will set the following goals:

- paint the 2 Golden units of the Dungeon faction of HoMM3 the board game (Manticores and Black Dragons)
- paint 4 Uruk-hai Berserkers
- paint 9 Uruk-hai warriors with pike
- paint 5 Saurus warriors

Also
- make progress on my Gondor board

And
- convincing more people to read the Short Stories in current contest and cast a vote :p

This month will be partial continuation of previous one.

Paint unit of Tau Guevesa breachers
Paint 20 US rangers for Bolt Action
Paint Quar Coftyr Patrol with Chyweetl tractor
Finish those Nids
Paint 1 unit of Crisis battlesuits (with one set of weapons)

Continue work on German halftracks for Bolt Action (if I get to modellers club)
Continue work on Taunar (if I get to modellers club)
 
March Goals:

Prime and paint 12 horses for my Empire Knights (but not the knights themselves for the time being)
Paint Marshal Ingwel'tonl to lead my saurus redcoats
Paint a minimum of 5 of my saurus redcoats
Paint a minimum of 2 random models for RPGs
Continue with my galleon

Laugh maniacally, for it actually feels like I'm making some progress through the grey masses!

First third of the month update.

I did almost nothing! :D

Coftyr tractor is done, couple of minis preshaded and couple more prepared for priming... nothing else.
 
Day Twelve Update

Mostly did a lot of work on my galleon.

However, I have primed my five saurus, and have started on my horses for some knights to eventually ride.
 
Second update (quick because last two days can't seem to post longer posts)
Done:
Paint unit of Tau Guevesa breachers
Paint Chyweetl tractor
Finish those Nids
Paint 1 unit of Crisis battlesuits
Continue work on Taunar (if I get to modellers club)
Assemble and prime 24 MESBG Orcs

In work:
US rangers
Coftyr patrol
 
Gotta finish the straps and bits on my next set of cold ones and some extra accessories I missed on my two saurus assault weapon boys.
Biggest thing to get sorted is the printing of some new parts for both my saurus cavelry and infantry.
 
End of March Report:
