Hello all! The last month or so I have been getting back into painting and wargaming. I am starting my first ever paint blog later today. I'm going to show some my latest work. I am painting a stegadon right now, but I also have some DnD minis to share! Everyone here has inspired me to paint more!!

Yay! Glad we could be of inspiration!

I will check out your blog and give advice if warranted or requested

Complete outstanding orders of basing material. Package and ship
1 hour break for lunch
5 employment applications
Paint saurus warriors with spears 0-20
Paint 3 final salamanders from this batch
Scrub down another section of troops from the primordial soup of the spawning pool.
Build 15 stormcast

Wednesday:

Morning duties
2-5 employment applications
Prime 16 stormcast and 10 wolves.
Paint wolves in two groups of 5
Paint stormcast in groups of 4
Prep more lizardmen for priming.

You've really got this planned out!

Posted my latest Seraphon models and some older models in my new blog! I hope to be posting more as I paint up my Seraphon! :)

Reminds me of the day, when I put extra coffee powder in my coffee instead of sugar...

A lot of mine depends on when my airbrush turns up from the states. Cheap it was, but quick shipment it was lacking... Alas.

Regardless, I will alternate plans for priming and at the very least et the following done:

40 Grots
1 banner lad (mostly done now already)
1 shaman

Anything else will be a bonus. I am absolutely going to get the horde of grots done before I get onto painting the fun stuff in this army. We'll see how long that resolve lasts.... They're actually very simple to paint, so I don't really have much of an excuse.

I adjusted my original target slightly to get a list ready for the 25th to play in warhammer world, this is what I've painted so far:

20 grots
20 squigs
1 gobba
1 shaman

And we're only half way!

Well well, it is the 16th already, so I guess I should post my progress. The starters came this week, so I had like 3 days instead of 16, but that's alright. I have build the troglodon and the saurus warriors, have carno and the knights left, as well as the conversions. I will get painting soon and they all should be ready till the end of the month, as I will probably speed paint the saurus warriors and upgrade them from there later. In that line of thought, can some of you kind gentleman give me some advice in regards to painting the troglodon, the model looks really good, but it is quite large and I tend to fuck up large models like the Imperial knight in 40k or some of the vehicles

I think I am juuust on track to finish my Black Knights, Bastiladon, maybe one of my Morghast and my Grave Guard this month.

Here we are again, nearly done my Vargheist and I've built all my Ironjawz which has turned out to be loads.............

I'm just trying to finish off my bastilladon, its coming along well :)

State of the Marcus, may 19th 2018:

Infantry model equivalency painted YTD = 206

primed and on deck:
4 Saurus spearmen
3 mantic salamanders

unprimed on the relatively current to do list:

16 Stormcast eternals for commission. 15 of those are unbuilt and need to be built with upgrade shields
20 saurus shields
a whole bunch of unit bases
at least 3, but probably 15 or so saurus temple guard. i have not counted the blighters yet.
at least 6 saurus knights
other lizardmen
88 dwarf spearmen
1 royal undead cavalry test model
tomb guard
sphinx
dread tomb king on royal beast.

notes:

We have breached the 200's. Normally i do this in April or earlier. A little late, but damn, losing your job sucks away free time in some ways having a job does not.

I've still got a ways to go this month to reach my goal of 250 infantry model equivalency. we'll get there though. the plan is to have the saurus/salamanders done by the end of the weekend, knockout the stormcast commission between applications/order processing during next week. that will bring me to 245.

I've not seen evidence of the Partridge

I _might_ make my target. Black Knights are practically finished (missing bases but my winter bases are quick to do) and Grave Guard are... pretty close. I guess I'll need one evening.
Working on the Morghast Armor now, I won't make it this month I think. Well, perhaps one Morghast but not both.
