Let's Get Motivated - May 2025

May Update:

Paint the last 10 saurus redcoats - Done, thus marks 60tsaurus redcoats, and all done on that front. Low-key celebrating, I was reaching burnout having been doing those chaps for so long. On Friday, before varnishing, I'll give them a once over to clean up any issues I might miss, but I am DONE!

Finish painting horses for Empire knights - Done, I now have 24 Perry Miniatures horses waiting for their riders.

Get started on painting the actual knights to ride those same horses - Primed 12, but not painted yet. I suppose that technically counts as getting started?

Bonus objective - cry a little inside as I realise my next goal for my army is the skink redcoats... who I'm committed to converting rather than printing. Those fiddly little knees are going to murder me... Maybe I should do my Greco-Roman temple-guards instead. They won't murder me with fiddly little points of contact, right?

Or I could do the 95th Chameleon rifles...wait, no... that would be just as bad as the redcoat skinks... :argh:
 
Final update of the month. I am fairly happy with the results, considering I had to redo BA list and make changes mid month.

- Assemble and paint US support teams I get my hands on (BA) - 2xHQ, 2x Medium mortar and MMG done
- Prime and basecoat US halftrack and Stuart (BA) - abandoned Stuart, halftrack transfered to separate goal
- Assemble another US vehicle (BA) - abandoned
- Paint second Quar transport with crew - abandoned
- Paint all currently printed Quar - abandoned
- At least prime all Fidwog Quar - all primed
- Paint 12 MESBG Orcs
- Paint MESBG Troll - done
- Continue on Taunar - beast is primed
- paint US halftrack - done
