Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - October 2020

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

This month I want to do lots of things. I don't know if I'm being over enthusiastic, but I want to do all this:

- Glue 3 of my Salamanders and Handlers
- Finish my second Bastiladon, only the monster. Some painted.
- Finish 15 Saurus Warriors that are on my desk since God knows when. Weapons, heads and bases left.
- Finish 5 Temple Guard, on my desk way before the Saurus above. Half done.
- Start and finish my Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur
- Finish 10 Saurus Knights. I'd be glad if I finish the Cold Ones only. I've only done one long time ago.
- Start and finish my 2 Starpriests
- Finish 20 Skinks. Some details, weapons and shields left.
- Start and finish 6 Terradons and their bases. No rider for now.
- Start and finish 3 Ripperdactyls and their bases. No rider for now.
- Prime 20 Skinks, along their weapons.
- Basecoat the skin and scales on my 6 Kroxigors

Let's see what I've finished at the end of the month.
 
This month after finally finishing the move well that just half the work right?!?

- So let’s make the house look like a house and not piles of boxes!!
- finish my training and get back into work schedule!!
- try to find a good spot in the new house for my painting area?!? Aka move the deep freeze at its proper place !!


I mean essentially get my shit together!! Hehehe

Awesome that you’ve got the Clone Wars Core Set! I look forward to seeing your efforts!

My aims this month are:
  • Finish redoing my Archmage and Tiranoc Chariot for my High Elves
  • Finish kit-bashing and painting Rat Ogres, Packmasters and Master Moulders for my Skaven
  • Post pics of my first completed SPQR Celts that I finished last month
  • Try and think of something to write for the Short Story Contest if possible

Well I was hoping to finish my entire Adeptus Mechanicus force during the month of September but wound up four days over the deadline :confused:

Still, my second dunecrawler is now complete, and with it all my admech!

My goals for this month:

Painting more of the army for my wife in her "lovely" colour scheme :rolleyes:

  • Eltharion - done
  • cathallar - mostly done
  • paint: 10 sentinels
  • build: 20 Wardens, 10 Dawnriders - done
  • optional: start with a custom Teclis based on the old high elve dragonprice
