Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - October 2021

This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple.

At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else.

Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link.

Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link.

The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc.

You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section.

If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress

So once again I did my random Ratty Roulette, giving the models not chosen last time a 50% chance to stay in, and ended up with the list below:

1 – 3 Khazâd Guard
2 – 2 Ratling Snipers
3 - Queek Headtaker (painted as Squeek Captian of the Council Guard)
4 – Fellowship Aragorn
5 - A Sister of Battle (painted as a random Order)
6 - A Necromancer

Dice roll came up as a 6 so it's spoopy Necromancer re-paint!

My lost for this month:

- Finish painting Gandalf on Shadowfax
- Start and finish painting another Citadel Guard
- Start and finish painting another Guard of the Fountain Court
- Have a game night with my brother again
And
- Write a short story for the current contest

Quite a list (according to my standards;)), lets see how I do

Taddy is almost done apart from some fine highlights, the odd tiny detail, his book, purity seal script writing, and the lens on the servo-skull
I've started Reikenor who has had his first hexwraith wash and some other areas basecoated.
Primaris Marine I was going to do as a Carcharodon. Did some minor conversion work with a couple of Ork lower jaws from the skulls sprue, added onto his backpack vents.

Plan for the rest of this week is to get the last ten Chainrasps based (maybe doing another Dwarf as a side model), get the necromancer's old paint job stripped off, and either make a good start on the Primaris Marine or make a start on the Reapers.

Finished the Starpriest. For the rest of October, I’ll build my Saurus Eternity Warden and worry about my next painting project in November.
