Skinks with lore of beasts would be nice. Those of you who use cupped hands, enjoy it while you got it.

I think some skunk fast cav in the form Pachycephalosaurus would be sick. They would get impact hit on the charge and maybe a bonus to strength.

Skunk fast cav could have a devastating AoE attack as well. Something akin to a panic test when the aroma hits. (couldn't resist :)).

They should be flying skunks so that they can crop dust enemy units like hexwraiths and screamers! Lol

    Trolling aside.

I expect terradons to drop rocks on each unit they fly over instead of once per game.

Terradons are MC... Though SoM classes a naked Terradon as a WB so they might lose it.

As for the Skink/Krox synergy comments, it will have to exist in some form or another. 5th had the RnF Skrox units just like 7th does, and 6th had a Skink screen tactic that let the Krox charge through the Skinks. I highly doubt they'll drop the mixed unit since they brought it back after just one edition.

Agreed. Even bringing Horned One riders back would be awesome.

I did not realize Terradons were a Storm of Magic option. My Storm of Magic lists play Terradons that I say are scaly "Eagles"

Where in SoM are you seeing Terradons? I just looked through the book and didn't see them. Were they in a White Dwarf supplement or something?

    A question if I may...
I see the general consensus is that Cupped Hands will be gone on book redo...

It certainly is powerful! But too much so? Is it nastier than Hellheart? It is also 50 points, only works when you have a miscast to pass to enemy wizard and has range restriction. So yes it saves you from a miscast. But then again Hellheart affects all enemy wizards within the range. Was OK redone in 8th ed?

    Seems balanced to me then:)

I don't think cupped hands is over powered. If anything, compared to the Hellheart, it is over costed or under powered. I won't be surprised if it goes away, but I hope it doesen't.

Cupped hands is situational casualty transfer.
Hellheart is a bomb you can you can "control".

I say that they are pretty equal in power lvl.
If one stays so should the other.

Ogres were rereleased in 8th edition. I would agree that it is balanced, but we are expected to say that (being Lizardmen players). I am also an Ogre player and I believe Hellheart is a much better item than the cupped hands.

It is interesting that you can use cupped hands on a miscast caused by the hellhear too.

If the Hellheart was one use only, it would feel more balanced when compared to Cupped Hands. Then again, if the Cupped Hands weren't one use only, it would be much more powerful (Teclis like in fact, only worse for your opponent).

If im not mistaken hellheart is one use. And chaos lost the puppet. Plus most tournaments ban or a large comp hit for cupped hands.

Hmm... (reads Ogre Kingdom book and checks errata...) so it is. I got screwed then. My opponent used it every freaking turn. :chicken: I won't let that happen again. In light of that, the two seem well balanced.

Not pointing fingers, but unless he had only played Ogres a couple of times, he would know that it was a one use item.

It was his second or third time playing Ogres and first time using the Hellheart, so I won't give him too bad a time about it. :)

Yeah, the Scroll of Binding for them is on iTunes for 99 cents. I'm not sure if GW made a hard copy of it. Basically they are less than 1/3 the cost, considered WB, 1 wound, don't cause Fear, and don't carry rocks anymore. Also unit size 3-15 so no Eagle tricks. Pretty lamesauce.
