Ilok simply watched the developments, thinking about all kinds of stuff.

((Sorry for the late reply, work and school caught up to me but I'm back now! I rolled a 4))

Huaroc followed the rest of his pack, holding the standard of llok aloft in one hand as he kept his trusted blow pipe ready to hand. He made sure to search for imminent danger as they progressed onwards. Combat was in his blood now and he would be ready for whatever came upon them.

Huaroc and Hexec's keen eyes spotted a dim glow from the end of the hall to the north, underneath what looked like the wall. Which was to the right of the door where Ax-rodriq had just placed his blades into. On closer inspection they discovered an off colored stone the color of sandstone, laid in to the ground in high contrast to the grey stones all around it.

Huaroc glanced back to llok and pointed towards the strange colored stone. Following the old saying "never pick up a duck in a dungeon" Huaroc made sure not to touch the stone. While Huaroc was not privy to magic workings and mystical elements like llok and even other skinks might be from their presense around Slann and the temple cities he did understand when something was likely magical.

Stepping back he made room for llok and any other individual whom might want a closer inspection of the stone and surrounding area. He kept his eyes open and remained alert for anything out of the ordinary.

"This stone looks important," chittered Hexec. He waited for Ilok to provide his input before deciding to do anything about the stone, fearing that touching it would set off some magic or traps.

Ilok didn't know what to make of it at first. It didn't seem magical, although it did seem important. Why would anybody leave it here standing out otherwise?
He felt there was only one option this time. Ilok cast a simple ward around him, to protect him from any harmful magic. Then it was simply a matter of touching the stone.

((No worries the slower pace makes it a tad easier on me anyhow))

As Ilock touched the stone, the wall before him slid straight up reavealing a hidden room. The room was massive roughly 40 feet by 40 feet, in the center was a golden pedestal surrounded by a ring of green gems. On the pedestal sat a stone statue of a might Slann. He seemed to be focused on the necklace that it was holding in his hand. The necklace itself seemed to be hung from a golden chain and ended in a glowing emerald ringed in gold. There was a plaque on the pedestal that read "Qu Qu'itt".

This left the lizardmen with two options, see the Slann or go to the room Ax-rodriq had unlocked.

Ilok was fascinated by the Slann and walked towards it. Only in his dreams could he posess the powers that a Slann had. And this grand statue was absolutely stunning.
He simply gazed upon the statue, before pondering what the text meant.

Huaroc looked upon the necklas and the emerald which was set in gold upon the end of the chain. He glanced back to llok and then to the necklas again. Huaroc had followed llok almost instinctually, having not given it a thought about weather to remain in the other room or to enter.

Finally he spoke. "It seems to me that this powerful Slann Mage-Priest is offering the necklas to it's worthy successor. It seems that a magical item such as this, given by a powerful and knowing Slann should befall you. Being the Priest amoung us." He said softly.

Hexec chirped his agreement. He for one would have no idea what to do with such a arcane artefact. Best leave the magic to the mages.

Ilok doubted if he was a successor worthy enough. Nevertheless he stepped forward, made a quick prayer, and took the necklace.

Ilok grabbed the necklace, as soon as he held it he could feel the protective energy of the Slann over him. He put it on with much pride, as soon as he rested it on his neck he could feel the eyes of Slann past watching over him. (you now have a 6+ ward save)

The group now had two options, leave the room and go to the sword room that Ax-rodriq had opened or go down the hall to the other door.

Huaroc looked upon llok and bowed his head. Then he thrust his banner high into the air three times in silent victory. Walking over to the doorway leading out of the room he motioned towards the room of swords Ax-rodriq had found, indicating that he thought they should go into that room next.

Ilok felt powerfull, now that he had the protection of the Slann's magic.

He walked towards the room which Ax-Rodiq had opened.

((Sorry for the long delay been too busy to post last little while))

Ax-rodriq patiently waiting for the others to come back to his discovery, simply nodded when Ilok came back to the door, and pushed it open for his leader. Inside was a small room roughly 15 feet long by 10 feet wide, with a tall ceiling of about 18 feet. There was a slit near the top of the ceiling, that acted as a sort of window allowing beams of light to enter the room. Along the walls where racks of weapons, on the right wall where 15 long spears with wooden shafts and obsidian blades, and five turtle bone shields; also there where 2 long poles of silver metal, with a massive obsidian stone at the end totaling in length of about 8 feet. On the right wall there where 15 silver swords with obsidian blades, and 10 turtle bone shields beneath them. On the far wall, the shorter wall there was a stand, with a frame of silver bearing a bone helm of a fallen saurus warrior it was inlaid with gold and rubies, beneath it was a breastplate mate from thin bones. To the left of the stand was a spear like the others, except it had been made from some sort of red wood, and to the right a turtle bone like the other however this one was died red.

"knock yourselves out" Ilok said, as he walked towards the helmet.

He studied it for a moment, checking if he saw any magical auras around it. He cast a spell to see the magical auras in the room more clearly.

As Iloks instinct guided him to the helm, his spell illuminated it, marking it as the only item with a magical aura in the room. (-1 Magic Ilok)

Hexec's instincts guided him towards the red wood spear. "It would make a fine spear for when he fought atop his Terradon," he thought. He gripped the handle firmly and twirled it about it head. It was quite the weapon.

Huaroc, being small even among other skinks looked about the room. Seeing that few weapons were small enough for him he mearly shrugged and walked back out of the room where he stood guardian in case harm should come lurking while his companions found what weapons would suit their needs.

Huaroc noticed that the banner fluttered slightly, despite that there was no breeze in the room. Huaroc suspected it was the magic at work. All the same he remained on guard.
