It seems like Lord Kroak will be the go-to hero for almost every single one of my lists, so I want to make him a big centerpiece in my army. The only issue is that his base is kinda small (50mm) so it is not a whole lot of room to work with.
Anyone got any cool conversion/basing ideas or seen any?
I have been looking on instagram, google etc. and those that stand out to me were:
The first one is kinda crazy and I love it so much. The only issue is getting an extra Balewind Vortex at this point for his base. His height is also quite absurd and I dont think I'd be super comfortable to throw the model up on a Balewind endless spell. I could magnetize him to the throne, but that would mean for the most of the game he is off this amazing base.
The second one is minor in comparison but looks awesome too. It also looks a lot more realistic in terms of placing it on a Balewind Vortex.
My plan was to change the faces of the Spirit Hosts to Skinks to make them look like Skink spirits flying about.
A third idea would be to have a Kroxigor carrying his throne. Im not a fan of the flying stems, so I try to put something else in place to keep flying models up in the air.
