LOOKING FOR COLOR SCHEME HELP!!!!

I am looking for a good looking color scheme and a walkthrough of the paints you use

I did a 2-to-3 color mix across all the models in my army, with two colors consistent across the entire army.

Skull White & Bleached Bone are always the base colors. with a different color for the scales based on what unit type it is. I used the following colors:

-Lizardmen/Krox: Hawk Turquoise
-Skinks: Goblin Green
-Monsters/Beasts: Gore Red
-Slann: Iyanden Darksun

It helped make a cohesive army while keeping it colorful and not just one uniform shade.

Oh! And I use the standard GW paints, never tried Vallejo or anything like that.

Yeah, but it's way more expensive in the long run to use the washes (5$ a pot vs 30 for a huge can of quickshade), and it's not as opaque so you tend to need more of it.

I need help with a colour scheme ffor my skinks, I want the scales and eyes green, now I need help, what sort of green, what colour for the body??

Ok i tried Dark Angels Green for the scales and eyes, it looks nice, does somebody know a nice color for the skin wich will look great with dark angels green?

Do you want it to be all green or two have two completely different colours? If all green I would start with goblin green and work up to scorpion green so you get a contrast between really dark scales and really light skin, should look good. Otherwise, red is the complimentary colour to green on the colour wheel I believe so any red should look good..

I tried the eyes and scales Dark Angels Green, not the whole skink.
You suggest a red skink with green scales, what about some dark blue color??

Ok I tried Enchanted Blue for the skin, but it's really dark, Dark Angels Green and Enchanted Blue are both pretty dark. Does anybody know a good color scheme for skinks??, the only restriction is I want the scales and eyes green(doesn't matter wich green) and I dont want the skin red, yellow, purple or white.

Well the combination of Enchanted Blue skin and Dark Angels Green eyes and scales looks good, but I want a themed army what should I do for the rest of the army, I need help with this:

Skinks: I changed to Ice Blue, now it's Ice Blue for skin, and Dark Angels for the eyes and scales.
Kroxigors: Enchated Blue skin, Dark Angels scales
Saurus and TG: Now the skinks are lighter I can use Enchanted Blue for these, so it's Enchanted Blue for the skin and Dark Angels for the eyes and scales
Terradons: I was thinking of making them green, but not Dark Angels Green, but some lighter green, any suggestions ???
Steggie's: Scales: Dark Angels Green Skin: Graveyard Earth, with Rotting Flesh skin tones
Slann: How should I paint my Slann so it looks like it's part of the army???, was thinking about Goblin Green Skin.

Dark Angels will become the trademark color for this army except for the slann and terradons, Dark Angels just doesn't look good on them, but they'll get some other color green so they still look like part of the army, just don't kno what green.

For the terradons, try knarloc, camo or gretchin green for a more leathery natural look, as opposed to "greeen" greens.
