yeah unlike salamanders dragons are tanky enough that they don't mind(not really a tank but also not 6 total wounds on a 4+). sure it's 2 VP every time you kill one but they only have 4 units and most low tier armies are not going to be able to take that on.
Its really only when you get kragnos in prime hunter armies that its a problem. Victory points really start to stack up then!
