Blog Lord Tombo and His Followers

I like your standard bearer. I usually paint the eyes green and the rest red, I didn't think the reverse would look so good. Glad I was proven wrong! I also like the jade-shading for the halberd weapons.

I am also a FMA fan! Really like the panda sculpt!

Thanks, these two were my first try at weapons/standards that weren't just gold and black. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

But what does the model geek get the anime nerd? A model of an anime character of course!

We're both big fans of Fullmetal Alchemist, so I decided to make her a model of a panda character called Xiao Mei. This was my first go at sculpting, and greenstuff in general. I wouldn't call it a success personally, but, eh, close enough.

Probably not deliberate but it correlates. Artists want to create work of beauty. Pandas are the most beautiful of nature's creatures. Artists create pandas.

Or perhaps it's tribute to placate our wrath. Either glorify us in art, or buy our cheese.
 
It has been far too long. What have I been doing? Surely working on a Golden Serpent entry, or a massive project. Of course... not.
word of the day is PROCRASTINATION!
Regardless, I've finally gotten round to painting a model I bought in march or something... A Magmadroth!
I've tried to do it in a similar colour scheme to my salamander, still not finished, but hey, it's something!

I slept for about twelve hours yesterday... I love the holidays.
I've done nothing productive... so... cats.

You are weird letting your lord out into the wild my two haw never been out side once ...well I did leave to door open but they just sat sat at the door looking at me like "you gong to close it..." lol

Lord Tombo has nothing to fear of the outside world... it bends in deference to his wishes and desires.
