for purposes of Lore of Beasts, are our dinosaurs (Stegadon, Bastiladon, Carnasaur) characters?

example: would i be able to cast "The Savage Beast Of Horros" on a stegadon? what about Pann's impenetrable pelt?

what would happen if i cast it on an Old Blood on a Carnasaur?
would both the monster and the rider get it? or just the rider?

Lore Of Beasts wants to be cast on monsters, but as of right now, i only see 1 spell that can be cast on a friendly monster...

check the lore attribute. ;)

The only spell that will benefit monsters is Wildform. The rest buff characters.
Characters riding monsters become unit type monster, which would give you the bonus.

Spells that target more than one unit (the character buffs) gain the bonus if any of the targeted characters are cav, monstrous cav or riding monsters.

thanks!

i just wanted to make sure.
it seems kind of weird that the Lore of Beasts only has one spell that can be cast on unridden monsters.

kind of disappointing...

Only one buff, but remember the amber spear will usually benefit from the rule (I think?) since you'll want to shoot it at a monster or monstrous cav.
