Well it isn't! There is no Lustria!

You can do better. You know you can.

This Month's comp is all about Boromemes.

Rules? We need rules?
* OK, you take your vanilla Boromir images and add some words.
* The words must be associated with Lustria, Lizardmen, stuff like that.
* Image manipulation is OK. Adding dialogue is OK (check my first entry for examples of both)
* Post Early, Post often. No limitation on number of entries
* Later, someone will teach me how to do a poll and we will have some voting rules.
* Anonymity is forbidden. Any posters who are found to be anonymous will have their names expunged from the records.


Technical details.
* I've attached a few of my favourite Boromoments for you to use, but you can use any images you like (within theme)
* Open the image in editing software.
* I just add words with Microsoft paint. For guys on phones and tablets, the SketchbookX app is free and easy to use.

Guess again. Eight out of Nine of the main characters survived. Until his redeeming death, B was kind of a jerk. I generally let the jerks live.

I would have had Frodo fall into the pit with Gollum. Sam would have survivor's guilt.

I'd flip a coin for whether Gimili or Legolas died. The family of the dead one would hold the survivor responsible unfairly.

Gandalf is so far from human he would not make a good death, but I didn't like his flawless return from death. He'd come back with a few extra flaws, at least cosmetically. Aaragon would at least have some temporary side effects from commanding a bunch of ghosts.

Merry and Pippen would survive but they'd would have to deal with the Ents they convinced to walk into death. Far fewer would survive the assault on Isengard. Treebeard certainly wouldn't. Come to think of it, Merry should have died in the process of helping kill that Nazgul, that would make the victory better.

The King of Rohan's death was good, no change necessary.

Faromir at least needs to sustain a burn scar from his father's attempted murder/suicide.

Okay, I think I'm all deathed out on LoTR.

Don't get me started on The Hobbit. I would have killed a whole movie. Peter Jackson had enough decent material for two movies, not three.

For a long time i wanted to put a Boromem here but could not thought of something so i decided to share with my lizardmen joke:

Yes, Esurc has been elevated to the rank of doomed first born of the Steward of Gondor for entirely non-transparent and probably incomprehensible competition reasons.

Good luck with that. You will die a jerk, and only seem slightly cool in flashback, and only in the much-too-long extended editions. If it makes you feel better, Scalenex would have let you live, but with horrible physical and psychological scars.
