Lustria-Online's Painting Challenge - September/October 2011

@ Favoredoftheoldones : Nope, if you double check the rules I posted in the opening thread, it's character on foot on bases of up to 50mm by 50mm (The Slaan is allowed, even though GW doesn't consider him on foot for the flying carpet purpose :D) or mounted characters on a regular cavalry base (25mm by 50mm). Hope you find something else to paint for this contest!!

@ Everyone else : To all of you asking about monsters, the next challenge WILL be the Monster Challenge, since it received so many votes and since pretty much everyone wants to paint one at some point :D.
 
Ah, I thought the carnosaur was on a 50x50 base. Thank you for clarifying.

Edit: Nevermind, just answered my own question. DUH!

I've sent in my entry, a BSB for my HE army, but this month is going to be pretty busy so I might not be able to see him finished. Will certainly try though!
 
Hmmm, what to paint. I really can't think of any single models that I really have been wanting to paint.

There's only 2 that really come to mind. Njal the Stormcaller in Termie armour, I wont be doing any conversions on him because he's already a really good looking model and I could only make him worse. Alternatively the Orc Warboss for my Fantasy Orc army, but converted from the 40k Warboss model. I dunno, tough call. I prefer the Njal model, and Njal is a lot less work, but the Warboss will look more unique.
 
@ Allseingskink : Pick what you'll have the most fun doing, that's the whole point of the challenge!!!

@ Strewart : I feel you man, I was planning on actually entering this contest but since I just bought a house and I'll be moving on october 1st, I'll be more then happy to watch from the sidelines once more :D. I will participate in the next one for sure (I'm starting to sound like a broken record ain't I?).

I edited the first post with the new contestants who sent me their pictures. We are getting close to 10 contestants once again and this is great, keep them pictures coming!!!
 
Edited the list of contestants once more, it's getting pretty big :D.

Is it too late to sign up? i am embarking on a new little project. I am not 100% sure it will be done in time, but i would like to sign up, and i guess you will have to disqualify me if i cant manage to be done in time :D
