That is a legitimate question. I use sheet metal as my movement trays. I do not put anything on the edges so that it looks more natural.

It starts now! We are looking to have entries submitted early August, so about a month away. Might extend it a little bit since it is a unit challenge not just one model.

Also, feel free to mention what you are painting in here! No need to keep that bit secret.

Bases and movement trays do not have to be complete in the first pic, your models can still be unassembled if you want.

I've decided to paint 10 Chaos warriors. It would have been more obvious to paint my saurus, but I'm already working on a unit and their quality isn't high enough, and I don't want half my unit to look different. Kind of a shame that you won't properly see the second rank, but I need a minimum sized unit. I'll just paint the front rank way better . I'll send a pic tomorrow.

This will be the unit I am going to paint. I'll use them as horse archers.





The riders havent been glued into place though, i just used some GS to get em on the horse decently for a pic.

If you guys need more pics just ask!

Is there a deadline on deciding which regiment to paint? I have a few regiments that I want to clean and prime and I can't decide which one to enter, lol.

Seriouslly, I was debating between Goblin Spider Riders and Savage Orc Boar Boyz (all my Lizardmen are painted). But sevensevensare49 made my decision easy - since he's doing spiders, I'll go with the Boars. Picture to come tonight.

So I'm most likely going to paint a unit of 3 Necropolis Knights (Sand Surfers). I Would've done my Tomb Guard unit of 20 but some are already painted/ partially painted and these seem more fun to paint as well.

Lemme Know if there is any problems with my submission and I'll find something else to do.

Lol. I have primered my skrox unit, but have yet to put it on a tray and take a picture of it. I need to get on the ball. 24 skinks and 2 kroxigors will take a little time to paint.
