So do you guys prefer the lore of light over the lore of life? I like light, but since you have to declare your chosen lore before you see what the other guy is bringing, I'd be afraid to run into the daemon's Great Standard of Sundering banner.

so i tryed out lore of light like 30 mins ago well first magic turn i wanted to do a magic spell i think it was speed of light on a saurus unit because he had first turn and he was already close to me so i diced to give speed of light to give him a had time at that first round of CC ges what happends i roll with 2 dice inrisitible force and roll a total of 4 for what happends to be short 20 temple gaurds died and the slann did get 1 wound and without any temple gaurds to protect him the slann get charged afther my first turn -.- so yes very bad first expecience with lore of light from now on it gots nothing to do with the spells it self but still.......

yes i forget to tell that but it makes it even worse, btw i don't have my armybook on me but if i use cupped hands and there is no wizzard in slanns line of sight does it ignore the miscast on a 2+ anyway?

I guess so, just like if they don't take a wizard. I think it says in the rules you ignore a miscast on a 2+ but if there is a wizard within 24 you can transfer the miscast to them.

ohhh another thing tomb kings can't suffer a miscast ofso i don't rember what it was but if tomb kings can't suffer a miscast then i can't give the miscast to someone in line of sight of the slann right?

Actually, they would still take the damage. The miscast is suffered by the slann (he rolls on the table), cupped hands transfers the resulting effect to the other caster.
