    Wow turns out everyone missed it and you will have to modify the tactica a bit.. Pretty stupidly placed and not very obvious if you ask me, but here is the ruling straight from the 7th ed BRB page 107, under the 'Casting Spells' heading on the 6th paragraph:

    That sure shakes up the way my gaming group has been playing.. You were correct Celticfire.

    Good call on that, so looks like I'll have to sweep through and reevaluate some of the spells. I think the radial damage spells all hit models in close combat... but I will have to check those too.

    Ay very tempting, and definitely worth considering for the future, but I am not a fan of huge sigs and even now mine is larger than I normally make them. They just end up cluttering every page with lots of space that isn't related to the thread. As an admin I have to set a good example and draw the line somewhere. :p
