I'm almost done assembling my 16 saurus warriors. I'm cruising through thinking ranking these guys is a breeze until I get to the guy who's gonna sit behind my leader on a cold one. Then it got complicated.

However, that's not the issue.

I've read about how a lot of people use magnetized movement trays. I'm hoping there's a simpler way than putting a rare earth magnet on the tray under each warrior. Can anyone enlighten me?

sure,
fridge seal magnets work well.
as do fridge door magnets
you end up using a piece of sheet metal as your movement tray though

You could take some thick plasticard. Cut that to the size of your unit. Then go up to a craft/hobby store (i.e. Michaels, hobby lobby, Jo-annes here in the States) and buy a magnetic sheet that is adhesive. Place that magnetic sheet on the plasticard. Once that is done, buy another sheet (or individual squares -perfect for small bases) and use green stuff and super glue to put that on the bottom of your models. I used the individual squares (1 pack had 40 squares) on some skinks and saurus. It took maybe 45 minutes to put the squares on there and I have only had one come off. These magnets are not strong enough to hold the heavier models on upside down or anything, but they will keep them models from moving.
