Hi folks, just wanted to share a project.
I found some cheap Troglodon parts and decided to give this conversion a try.

First pic, the Parasaurolophus toy made by Papo.

Removed some parts and stuck on the new parts:

Now I'm on to adding Green Stuff to make it blend together and look good. That will take a while.

This is pretty much exactly what I've been looking into doing myself. Looking forward to see the progress !

Had a think about the Skink Shaman(Edit: Oracle, sorry). Sure I could just get one on thebay, but let's see if we can make one. Here's a start:

Q: What do you get when you cross a Skink with a Moria goblin?

Lots of filling and detailing and building and painting to go, but it's really fun.

looks very cool i did one similar myself * should be here somewhere* only my guy is a tiny bit bigger looking forward to the final result
 
Nice work, with both the trog and the skink gobbo! :artist:
 
A theropod dinosaur model maybe would have looked more similiar to the original, but with proprer tweaks the Parasaurolophus spine could give him an interesting 'hunting' posture.
 
Cool idea.
But bringing the different sizes of scales together is a task that would pretty much kill the project if I was the one doing it.
 
That looks great so far. Inspired use of the moria goblin
