True, but those other skaven then don't have a tome for some reason. Skaven in general seem weird right now, being split up in subfactions with no clear benefit as only 1 has an actual rulebook. Did they exist as seperate armies like this before? Or were they just subfactions of "skaven" with some special rules if you went completly with a subfaction?

And yeah, plenty of others that need some love..

You might get lucky with some of the rats at least, since they have the Nurgle keyword so might get some use with the new Battletome.

Oh and most weird:
Aleguzzlers have one bataillon, and a cool one to boot, but it is impossible to play in matched play....

How so? WHat makes it impossible?

Aleguzzlers have no Battleline and no units qualifying as leaders and the units for the bataillon (5 gargants) are more than 400 points so you cannot use them as allies.

I see it exactly the other way round. I kinda like Sylvaneth and I am fed up with SCE.

It stems from a scenario in the Lore when the SCE came to help Alarielle. I am fine with it.

Alarielle shouldn't be in AoS - Ungrim Ironfist, Thorgrim Grudgebearer and a tonne of other fantasy characters should have been resurrected before her!

Pestilence at least can be combined with the other rats.
I'd like to see beastmen (warherd+brayherd) become viable again. Same for Dispossessed and some Elves.

Dispossessed became more viable with the new General's Handbook - there's a Warhammer Community article about the new Dispossessed rules.

What almost makes me furious though:
The way his star observation scrying stuff is described is almost exactly as Slann or Starseers do.
So bye bye uniqueness there as well. SCE just do everything.
And even though that hero is described as someone not made for battle but for the background work I would bet he has a 3+ save and deals mortal wounds...

This doesn't bother me as this happened in the Old World as well. Celestial wizards scryed the skies the same way the Lizardmen wizards did. That was actually the primary parallel that I saw, the Celestial order rather than the Seraphon.

A Night Goblin shaman (Hooray!), a Ghost Knight and a Chaos Marauder Queen.

All of them are decent models IMO. I just had wished for someone other than an SCE.
The Goblin is really cool and I also like the Death model.
The Chaos Queen... yeah. She's basically a female version of the Silver Tower Darkoath Chieftain.

Well you can always use the battalion in a mixed destruction army, which I actually plan to do

That's possible but IMO the mixed destruction allegiance abilities are mediocre.
It can work though.

IIRC the Darkoath Chieftain for example was released three months or so after Silver Tower release.

Not even in the slightest . I would give up the entire hobby before I converted to AoS (unless AoS changed so fundamentally that it was a completely different game... and they removed the Sigmarines!).
