    I got these printed by someone for $1.50 each.

    When I get my own printer, get it dialed in, etc (planned for after the move in august) thry should be under 50 cents per model

    Sorry to beat a dead horse, @Lord-Marcus. I double checked the video from MiniWargaming. They actually used Sabarite Green and brushed the gold over it. Here's the link to the video if you're interested in seeing how they used it. About 2:25 into the video.

    @NIGHTBRINGER

    I'm not needed here, you have sorted it out between yourselves.

    @Lord-Marcus

    Still a bit too much shade going on but miles better than before ;)

    These are especially nice! Are they the Mantic Empire of Dust Revenants?

    They look a bit... grainy. Did you have problems with your primer?

    I noticed that too. I'm assuming it's a half-bad can of primer. Not super worried about it honestly as these are front-line troops

    Not bad, but I would highlight (with bronze) the raised areas. The oxidation would likely be rubbed/worn off of these raised bits and reside purely in the recesses.

    @Lord-Marcus

    Remember less is more with Verdi as pointed out by @NIGHTBRINGER you need to drybrush over with the base and highlight colour.

    I'll be honest:
    The visible layers would be a no-go for me.
    As long as affordable printers cannot produce layers small enough that shade doesn't settle in there I wouldn't do that.
    Granted, they probably look better in real life on the tabletop, a few feet away. Still... IMO not worth it. Yet.

    It's all down to settings. I've seen a $200 printer get extremely small layer lines. I don't know what settings this guy used but I'm not bothered by it.

    Oh there are definitely printers around that can produce very fine layers. In the 500€ range there are some that manage to print at 25 microns resolution.

    3 characters for the Mournful Throng, a section of the crimson host comprised of an army of dwarven spirits led by the corporeal and well preserved Thanes/king.

    Red highlights were done soon after I posted that.

    I've been quiet because I was busy then I got rear ended last friday. Mostly ok, working on things.

    A shield project @NIGHTBRINGER will like is due in tommorow and I may or may not be gnawing back to my roots for fun.
