Hmm... Are there any Roman symbols that haven't yet been taken by a chapter? Or Greek? Even if that would be departing from the theme of your chapter's name a touch... Regardless, I'm sure you'll figure something out.
Is said Honoured Brother a completely nude grumpy Ancient Greek hermit inside that sarcophagus? Why else would he be called Diogenes?
A nude except for black carapace heavily physically damaged, yet grumpy space marine. 1. I'm going to be naming my dreads after Greek/Hellenic historical figures. 2. Diogenes is my favorite Philosopher in that I find his story fascinating, so he goes first. 3. I find it fitting, as the sarcophagus is a metaphor for his namesake's Wine Jar.
I've been building and priming up a storm the past few days. 6 more nato-ogre conversions 3 misc fantasy human great swordsmen. A chariot and 2 horses 1 mounted Afghan tribesman 1 space Marine chaplain in primaris standard armor 2 sisters of silence 10 landskneckt pikemen 6 Roman citizens 3 large snake centaur demons from Mantic 3 "abyssal berserkers" large demon infantry Have been built, primed, or both in the last few days.
I have painted 7 ogres as part of a work project. They will be shown off when allowed, but I am marking them on the list for now.
I've primed a dwarf King with shield bearers. I've also been cleaning and consolidating sprues. This has led to quite a few fantasy-esque conversions between different historical sets to make various human Infantry types. I've been trying to clean up frames in my personal collection recently, reasoning but if I attack my pile of opportunity like I was going through all of the stages of building and painting a miniature, I might be able to become a little bit more consolidated and with neater storage solutions. Not to mention bits, which until all sprues are cleared can't be master sorted and saved or sold thereafter.
+3 for a dwarf King on shield bearers, wip base Crossing this one off my bucket list once complete, though.
10 pikeman for a unit of 40. These are going to take a minor hiatus while I finish some other projects that have been moved up in the queue for various reasons.
