YES!!! that I like a lot. They look great this way! I love the little touch of red in the eye sockets Grrr, !mrahil
Well, I've had a phenomenaly crap end of week, and I will be painting this evening to make up for that. expect an update
2 more trolls and 2 werewolves with final detailing stages to go. 5 orc elites (Kevin's term for them, they are orruk brutes models) base coated. 15 more brutes to do. 5 of which need to be built and 5 more primed. 20 kruleboyz for Kevin are primed. A good 6-10 are In a bag needing a check over before getting primed. My next set of dominion models are on sprue. I've also got a bunch of my own to reprime too. 34 savage orcs for Kevin are needing light TLC in the form of reattaching broken off limbs before priming. Then there's some troll bloods, some other misc skorne models, a Shieldwolf squiggoth esque creature. Lots of stuff to do for Kevin. We're going to see how much I can blaze through to get some money for savings. I have 10 more skeletons built. I have most of a box of conquest Dominion legionaries which are undead Romanesque guys, on sprue ready to be billed. The test model is primed for the unit so I can test my color scheme.
primed more Bavarian WSS infantry. Finished 5 savage orcs for kevin, and started on 5 more brutes. pictures soonish.
I see you've finally managed to get your hands on some of the new Mantic Twilight Kin. What do you think of them? They're certainly an interesting take on Dark Elves, and perhaps, as you've already demonstrated, could form the basis of an updated army list for the old Warhammer Fantasy 6th Edition Cult of Pleasure army (from Storm of Chaos).
Well, the impalers and characters would have a place, but the basic infantry are similar to the new ice kin and the old elves in body dynamics and shape.
4 Bavarian Infantry, take 2, finished. I should have a photo of these either early tomorrow or on Friday afternoon.
I summon the council of @NIGHTBRINGER @Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl @Warden and @Killer Angel The sands are soon to be graced with the trampling of hooves, as Wargames Atlantic's unofficial skeleton horde, the second. To give context, we have box art. Spoiler I'm not sure if i can emphasize enough the gravity of the situation! We must Prepare! I'm thinking around 10 boxes should get the legion topped up after new years. Start the year off with a pile of bones. Should I make 20 chariots, 60 cav, and 60 infantry 10 chariots, 80 cavalry, and 80 infantry or 100 cavalry and 100 infantry I'm thinking this will work nicely to get the Emerald legion of Numas (I am taking a different tact than the usual red for numas) off the ground with The Old World around the corner. Oh wise elder beings in the realms of miniatures, lend me your advice.
I would say 10 Chariots would definitely be sufficient as a Chariot unit, which would leave 80 Cavalry and 80 infantry to make up the additional numbers (though I wonder if 80 Cavalry will really be necessary... we'll have to keep an eye on TOW and see whether they have been able to balance infantry and cavalry better yet). To be honest though, in my position I would wait until the possibility of us seeing any more of WA's Egyptian Skeletons they teased on Digital earlier this year. Phoney 'Jason and the Argonauts' Greek skeletons just won't do for the host of a mighty Tomb King.
Which is this weekend so I shouldn't be too concerned. The Egyptian skeletons were Atlantic digital. They are not slated for plastics anytime soon
I mean when all the relevant information is revealed, including pricing. That way everyone can make an informed decision.
I know GW is going to be pricey. I can deal with buying wargames' atlantic's box when it comes out, which looks to be a little farther off.
