There is a German company which does "museum quality" authentic dinosaur models, i.e. they represent current best understanding rather than fitting the Jurassic Park image. They come pre-painted to a level which i would consider an adequate basecoat - I changed the colours in some places and then added the usual washes/dry-brushing/highlighting/detailing before adding the Saurus. I can't find my link to it anymore, I suspect Google would be your best aid now.

Its such a minor thing but I love when people give their Seraphon weird tongue colors and I'm a big fan of the green tongue on your Oldblood. Great job on the rest of the model as well!
 
Oh, shame on me, as I saw the ending date of the competition, I was in a hurry and did not notice it has to be model painted in May. It is an older piece, so I withdraw from the competition. I have to be fair! But it motivated me to pull this out of the box (everything is packed after moving). Maybe I will finish my Stygiosaurus (Troglodon) for the next one in time .)

As this is quite a lot more entries and I was expecting I would like help on choosing a format for voting that is fair and equitable. Please comment with your thoughts.

Also I'm not complaining at the number of entries just astounded at how well you guys received my contest

I'm giving it a month then will be launching a cav themed contest to round out the triumvirate
