Blog Mazdamundi and pals

Hello!

As others said, it is definitely possible! I first made the basic shapes from clear plasticard, and built it up slowly, bit by bit, using greenstuff to fill it out:

You got me! ;) I've been recording my progress on instagram as well. Here's how Zlaaq's shaped up:

@Crowsfoot that headress looks great! It fits his head so neatly! Great work on all the jewellery too. I'm a huge fan of your 'make the most out of the start collecting boxset' post! I'm planning on doing a submerged troglodon soon.

@Oh_Man thanks! I tried hard to match the look of the video game. I even considered trying to sculpt him holding the cobra mace, then decided he was enough work as it was...

Thanks for the feedback y'all!

Simple exquisite, I got no feedback to add other than please post more pictures when its done! :snaphappy::snaphappy::snaphappy:

How come you opted not to add the back part of the platform on the Stegadon and have Mazdamundi just attached directly onto his back? Did they not fit together properly?

Am incredibly happy that I stumbled across this blog! Really lovely sculpting and painting job on Mazdamundi and Zlaaq. Definitely using this as inspiration for painting up my own stegadons and Slann :) Looking forward to more!

Those purple gemstones look real. AMAZING! How did you manage to paint such a great effect?
