Which models do you prefer for Saurus?

  • Lizardmen/Seraphon (Games Workshop)

  • Salamanders (Mantic)

  • Saurians (Avatars of War)

  • Khthones (Mierce)

  • Reptus (Reaper)

Results are only viewable after voting.
Using them as Salamanders and the Mantic ones as Ancients was kinda what I had in mind. Just need to work out what to use as Cosairs now :(

Corsairs are a tricky one I thought skinks with guns but they may be a tad small
 
If you have spare saurus models (if they are your base salamanders), you can eitheir convert some with pistols (from the Empire GW range for exemple, you have at least one pistol per sprue in the milia kit from memory), or if you prefer some lower tech alternative, or something that will require less exotic bitz, you might model them as saurus with javelins (or maybe other throwing wepons), as pistols rule wise are similar to throwing weapons with Piercing, and the salamanders are strong enough to justify the Piercing with throwing weapons.
